MAHA MAMO - “I EXIST, I’M RYAN”
In a world defined by national identity, the issue of statelessness stands out as a stark anomaly, profoundly affecting the existence of countless individuals worldwide who navigate life without national recognition, without human dignity. Such was the reality for Maha Mamo.
In her unwavering commitment to aiding those denied a nationality, Maha has emerged as a prominent advocate within the UNHCR campaign #IBELONG, standing alongside the renowned activist Cate Blanchett. Maha actively curates and disseminates resources to assist stateless individuals worldwide, facilitating access to legal advocacy and essential support. Maha started the campaign “I Exist, I am Ryan”, produced by 4H5H MEDIA. Rayan is a 13-year-old boy who has the DREAM to EXIST! He was born in Lebanon, yet he is not recognized as a citizen of his country.
