28th World Law Congress of the World Jurist Association: 60 Years Making Peace Through Law

The WJA was formed in response to an international outcry for a free and open forum where judges, prosecutors, jurists, lawyers, law professors and other professionals from around the world could work cooperatively to strengthen and expand the Rule of Law and its institutions through the nations of the world.

The 28th World Law Congress New York 2023, took place on July 19-21, 2023. This global legal event was an open forum in which heads of State, judges, academics, lawyers, activists, students and professionals linked to the legal world and the Rule of Law converge. The World Law Congress New York 2023 celebrated the 60th anniversary of the World Jurist Association going back to its roots in the United States of America. The first day hosted a series of simultaneous round tables gathering more than 200 panelists from around the world, discussing current topics, encompassed in Peace Through Law, the original WJA motto.

Each year, during the Closing Ceremony, the World Peace & Liberty Award 2023 is conferred to a world personality or institution distinguished for their commitment to the promotion of peace through law and the rule of law as a guarantor of freedom. Previous honorees include Sir Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, René Cassin, Felipe VI King of Spain, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and the Colombian society, in the hands of then President Ivan Duque.

As members of the executive committee, founders and partners of 4H5H MEDIA, played instrumental roles in advising and facilitating the production of the 28th World Law Congress.
